2. How does it work?

You can securely upload the audio recordings to our site by creating a free upload account. You will get confirmation emails with account access. You can log in and upload the files.

If you have the audio recordings online, you can email us the links to download the files. You can also upload the files to our server using FTP.

Usually transcripts are provided in MS Word format. However, we can provide them in Text format or PDF format if required. By default, we annotate the transcript where there are inaudible words or if the speech is not comprehensible due to audio disturbance, lack of clarity in speech, use of technical terms that are not easily recognized or similar sounding words that the transcriber is unable to make out. These sections are marked with a time stamp - the minute and second in the recording at which the relevant text occurs.

If you require timestamps at regular intervals we can do that for a marginal extra fee.

3. Experience & Quality

We transcribe audio & video recordings for clients in North America, UK and Australia on an ongoing basis. Our team of transcribers has experience in handling a wide range of accents and topics. If the quality of the audio recording is good and if the speech clarity is high, we deliver 99%+ accuracy. We have developed an annotation methodology by which we help you quickly review the portions of the transcript that we are not 100% sure of. This way you can easily get the text to 100% accuracy.

4. Turn-around Time

The turn-around time depends on the nature of engagement that we have with our clients. If you have regular work, we can discuss and agree on a TAT that meets your requirement. We will quote the delivery time for one-off projects based on the existing commitments. Normally, turnaround can range from 2 to 3 days for the first hour of audio. Typically, for one time projects we offer 2-3 day turnaround for the first 2-3 hours of recordings and subsequently 2-3 hours of recordings transcribed every day. However, the exact commitment will depend on the pre-existing commitments at that point of time.

We have one standard rate for normal as well as rush transcription.  If you require the transcriptions fast (rush transcription), we will try to expedite them if we can. However, we do not take up rush transcriptions with delivery in less than 24 hours.

5. Pricing

Our rates are among the lowest anywhere in the world for the quality of transcripts that we deliver. We offer a simple fee structure: flat rate per minute of audio. Just multiply the duration of the audio in minutes by our rate to get your total cost. The rate is lowest for single speaker or audios of high quality; higher rates apply for multi-speaker audios and low quality recordings.

6. Payment

For small jobs, we are happy to get paid after the job is completed. You can pay with your credit card or PayPal. You can also send payments to our bank account in the USA or India directly.

Transcription of Phone Call Recordings
The Client had two phone call recordings in WAV format. There were many low volume areas, whispering, static and multiple voices. We had done an accurate transcription of the phone call recordings and delivered them to the client very quickly. We had done multiple checks to eliminate any errors.
Transcription of Baseball Coaching Audios
The client gave us a series of short WAV & DVF files describing how to coach hitting in the sport of baseball. Each files were approximately 15 minutes in length. We completed the transcription quickly and employed 2 well-experienced editors to check the transcripts to eliminate any errors.
Transcription of a Clinical Interview
We transcribed a Clinical interview between a student psychologist in training and a male client. It was a recording for a clinical exam. it was in WMA format. We were required to have good knowledge of medical terminologies to transcribe the interview accurately. We completed the transcription and employed 2 medical transcribers as editors to check the transcribed text.
Transcription of Undergraduate Thesis
InteleANTS transcribed a series of about 10 telephone interviews, each one lasting about 45 minutes. Since it was a telephonic interview, the recording had a lot of disturbances and the audio was not clear. The audio files were given to us in wav and DSS formats. We managed to complete the transcription quickly and without any errors.
Transcription of Music Lectures
We completed a transcription of four lectures about Country and Western music. There were proper names of singers in the lectures. It had many technical terms relating to music. The audio format was OGG. We spent time understanding important musical terms and then undertook the transcription process successfully.
Transcription of a Court Trial
InteleANTS completed an efficient and successful transcription of an interview with a defendant. The interview consisted of 2 interviewers and a defendant. The audio files were in MP3 and AIFF formats. We undertook the transcription in an efficient manner and completed it successfully.
Transcription of Leadership Training
The audio file had one Leader speaking into a group of 150 students in a closed room. The leader and the students speak into a microphone. The audio file was provided to us in AAC format. We transcribed the audio file with the help of 2-3 transcribers and used a senior editor to do grammar checks and other quality checks.
Transcription of Interviews on US Political Affairs
The client had 18 interviews (in English) about local political affairs in San Francisco, CA, that needed to get transcribed. It was a very tight deadline. We were given video files with two different formats - FLV & MPG. We needed to have some knowledge of the political affairs in USA so as to perform the transcription effectively. InteleANTS, with the help of experienced transcribers, completed the task successfully.
Transcription of a Therapy Session
There was a video of therapy session with 1 therapist and 2 clients. The video was in AVI format. We transcribed the video with the name of the speaker paired with each time they spoke. The transcription was edited to eliminate redundant words and other words used in conversations. Various other quality checking exercises were done to submit a high quality transcript of the video.
Transcription of a Group Discussion
The client's requirement was the transcription of a focus group discussion as part of a service needs assessment. The participants were all directors or managers of local Head Start programs. We were only given the audio in WMA formats of the group discussion. Transcribing a group discussion using just an audio file is an arduous task. But, we performed the transcription including the grammar and spell checks successfully and delivered on time.
Transcription of Academic Interview
A video file of an academic interview in FLV format which had discussions about the Human Resources Management was provided to us. The interviewer was a female Taiwanese student and the interviewee was an English woman. We performed the transcription of the interview taking into consideration the varying accents of the speakers. We came up with an accurate transcription within the stipulated time.
Transcription of Conference Calls
Several conference calls were to be transcribed and returned as Word documents. The calls were questions, followed by answers from participants on the call. The conference call recordings were in WMA format. The deadline was tight. Each conference call lasted about 60 minutes. It was in English language with some fast speaking. We completed the transcription promptly with necessary editing work done using senior editors.
Ongoing Transcription for a Sales Trainer
InteleANTS transcription team transcribes 4 to 6 hours of audio every month for a sales trainer. The client conducts webinars, classroom sessions and coaching classes, all of which is being transcribed by us on a continuous basis. All transcribed files are checked for quality and appropriately formatted.
Ongoing Transcription for Business Coaching Company
The business coaching company conducts on-to-one coaching sessions, classroom session and seminars. All these sessions are taped in audio files and we transcribe 12 to 15 hours of audio every month. Since the client requires a very high quality of transcripts, the transcripts are checked by a senior editor to eliminate errors and edit conversational phrases.
